Privacy

The person named in the imprint is responsible for this site. This statement follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In short

Server logs

When you open a page, the web host processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type, so the page can be delivered and kept secure. These logs are not analysed and are deleted after a short time.

Local storage

If you mark a video as “Watched”, only your own browser stores this (local storage). It never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Contact form

Your details are sent to the site operator by email so your message can be answered. They are not passed on and are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Guestbook

We store your nickname, subject, text and the time. Entries are checked before they are published. To prevent misuse, your IP address is stored only in encrypted form and only for a short time. If you want an entry removed, a short message via the contact form is enough.

YouTube

The videos are hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). As soon as you follow a link, Google’s privacy rules apply there.

Your rights

You can ask what data is held about you and have it corrected or deleted. A message to the address in the imprint is enough. If you are under 18, your parents may help you with this.

Use & copyright

You may use all content free of charge for learning and in class. The PDF materials may be copied for your own teaching. Passing them on for money, publishing them on other websites or changing them requires permission.

Professor Erklärbär, the character and the logo are protected. Other brand names belong to their respective owners.

Guestbook rules

Be fair. Insults, advertising, other people’s personal details and anything that does not fit a learning site will not be published.
